Maintenance and Care

Onistone concrete tiles require proper care and maintenance to ensure that they always look their best, therefore we recommend:
1. Set up a regular floor maintenance schedule
2. Use properly sized walk-off mats for Onistone product line.
3. Interior floors shall be swept or dust mopped daily
4. Vacuum the walk off mats daily
5. Use protectors on chair and table legs

Low Maintenance Routine
Routine cleaning removes dirt, wipes away footprints or marks and reinforces the protective layer in case of wear, we recommend to:
1. Sweep daily.
2. Damp mop as required using a neutral cleaner.
3. Periodic buffing with a pad on a floor-buffing machine can be used to increase the level of the sheen.

Ongoing care
The long term of good looks of a treated surface will be depend on thorough cleaning and good housekeeping. You must:
1. Mop up any spills immediately, and if necessary spot clean using a 3M white scouring pad by hand with dishwashing liquid, rinse and dry.
2. Sweep often
3. Periodically repeat the cleaning instructions detailed previously.
4. Use protectors on chair and table legs and consider the use of properly sized walk-off mats.

Stain Removal
Most stains can be removed by scrubbing with water and a pH-neutral detergent. For more difficult stains use a spot cleaner (follow manufacturer's instructions). If the stain is particularly difficult to handle contact a stone care professional.

Renovation Procedure
Floor can be simply renovated by following the steps outlined in Initial Cleaning & Finishing procedure.
